OpenSetTM - open construction
OpenSetTM diesel-generator series is constructed so as to ensure maximum reduction of costs related to erection and installation work. The units are placed on a steel frame and equipped with a built-in fuel tank, manual and automatic start controller and industrial-type muffler.
The basic package includes the PCC control system and a three-polar switch. There are multiple options allowing configuration change in accordance with a customer's requirements. The base frame can be moved four ways by a forklift loader or a pallet lifting device.
SilentPowerTM concept - construction with a noise attenuating enclosure
SilentPowerTM construction was designed according to European standards. The unit is placed in a noise attenuating enclosure made of a steel sheet with Zintec galvanic cover. The enclosure ensures that the noise level does not exceed 85 dB at the distance of 1 m from a diesel generator unit

For diesel generators with the capacity starting from 250 kW, Cummins offers a design allowing configuration change in accordance with the customer's requirements.
The package includes the PCC control block and a wide range of options including remote control.
Cummins diesel generator sets of a container type manufactured by JSC "NG-Energo"
Depending on operating conditions and a customer's wishes we offer diesel generator sets of a container type. Containers are intended for diesel generator sets to be placed into them, together with additional equipment and for maintenance work to be carried out by the servicing personnel.
We manufacture our own containers for high-capacity diesel generator sets, as a standard container leaves no space for technical maintenance and operation.

Erection supervision and commissioning
"NG-Energo" holding company is an official certified dealer of Cummins Inc. and possesses the necessary authority to supply, commission and provide qualified after-sales service, which is an integrated part of engineering services.
The specialists of our company will supervise the equipment installation, the procedure compliance with the manufacturer's requirements and the quality of the works performed.
In the course of the commissioning performed under the supervision of our company Cummins-certified specialists, the final tests of the equipment will be carried out, the personnel will be trained and, if necessary, the adjustments will be made to the settings for more comfortable work.
Application
In small factories, small separate buildings, cottage communities the following small machines can be used: diesel generator units of OpenSetTM and SilentPowerTM series in a noise attenuating enclosure with the capacity of 11-250 kVA.
Diesel generator units of OpenSetTM and SilentPowerTM series in a noise attenuating enclosure with the capacity of 275-650 kVA can be used in medium-sized industrial enterprises and large buildings.
Main functions of a power transfer relay:
- Main source supply monitoring.
- Directing the signal to start the diesel generator set (backup power supply)
- Shifting the load to the backup power supply.
- Directing the signal to return to the main power supply.
- Shifting the load to the mains supply.
- Disconnection time delay allowing the diesel generator set to cool down before disconnection. More details »
Automatic circuit breaker is used to disconnect the load from the generator in case of overload and short-circuit currents. Besides, motor driven circuit breakers (usually of direct current) are used in case of connection of two or more generators to a common wire for parallel work for common load (in order to ensure the backup or buildup of the power plant output. Diesel generator set control system and accompanying equipment is placed in a metal box mounted on a general frame. A switch box may be located both on the right and on the left of the diesel generator. When ordering a diesel generator set to be installed in a container or in a specially equipped room, the location of a switch box must be specially specified, as for convenient service it is necessary to provide an easy access to the control system.
